Maber was appointed by British Airways to undertake detailed intrusive surveys within Heathrow’s Airport Operations Control Centre. Following the survey and design phases, Maber was appointed as Principal Contractor to deliver the refurbishment.
The works involved removing the existing partitions, ceilings and floor finishes, followed by the installation of new partitions of varying construction types, including feature walls. Existing mechanical and electrical services were altered to suit the revised layout, alongside the installation of new ceilings designed to meet acoustic requirements and new flooring.
